This concert was broadcast by the BBC in England and it was fantastic. So why is there no DVD available? I t would sell big style because most people seem to agree that it was a brilliant artist at the peak of his career.

@airager It is my understanding that the master for this was one of many that the BBC accidentally disposed of in the 80's. I agree it would make a super dvd

Thank you so much DundeeBhoy2007 Billy Joel is so special especially this song I remember listening to this concert live with my now husband of 25 years Billy Joel was and is the soundtrack for us its so special and especially This Night the lovely memories of that time and to find this very concert wow I am over the moon a lovely 25th anniversary present which I am putting in my favourites thanks again.

Oh. Just remembered - the 1st half had a simultaneous broadcast on radio 1 that I recorded and taped onto a dodgy BASF tape that we used to listen to when camping out. Other side of the tape was Crises albumn by Mike Oldfield - Moonlight Shadow. Random, but euphoric.

This was an amazing time in my life - just 13, summer holidays, LA Olympics, V, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn on TV every day, camping out in the garden, warm summer in Scotland, Billy Joel in concert live broadcast by satellite from Wembley. 1st half of concert was on live, 2nd half was delayed until the following week and I had to set the timer on the video cos I was going to Morecambe for my holidays. Pure Magic.

I've just contacted the BBC to ask them where it is & why don't they ever repeat it? If it is lost, someone needs to swing for it lol. Just take a look on here to see how popular it would be to see/air again! Don't they have researchers?? The man is a legend & this was at the very pinnacle of his amazing career! Get a grip beeb!

Beethoven amazing enough, who would have ever thought that this superb classic would be created from it?!? Billy Joel, THE MAN!! Absolutely superb!! I totally agree with all about a DVD! Wore my video out ages ago. Was there 'This Night' probably the best concert in the world! Thank you again for posting xx

Thanks so much for this. I recorded this and drove my family mad watching it over and over again. My mum accidentally recorded Coronation Street over it - I cried! I was totally addicted! If anyone has the whole concert, please upload. I would pay good money to have these happy memories back again! Please! Please! Xx
