i personally am one of those people that feel BJ is one of the best "fighters' in the sport....Hes only lost to champions or future champs. And all but two of his losses are from weight classes higher then he fights in. He has never been KO or subbed and all his wins are finishes. How can you not give BJ credit when he fought Lyoto MAchida toe2 toe wen Lyoto weighted 220lbs and took him to a close decision. Think about it. Randy, Thaigao silva, rashad and many others couldnt stand wiht lyoto

When BJ Penn was at his peak he was no doubt one of the best P4P fighters. I mean the guy was once a 170/155 champ. That says it all. I don't believe the crap I'm seeing he only beat noobs. He's fought n beaten tough guys only been finished what twice!? He lost to Frankie Edgar only because Frankie Edgar is better and is a top 3 fighter in the world. PPL Say BJ looked like shi tagainst Edgar, no..he's the champ for a reason. But it was sad to see BJ get beat like he did last Saturday.
