Adam, Drew and Sean Faris hear the shocking news that Baltimore and Washington's legendary 99.1 WHFS no longer plays alternative rock and has become a ranchero station. 1/12/2005

  • @MDWilliams03 dude, seriously?!? I didn't know Adam was still doing the show!! I remember when I was sitting there and heard 99.1 go offline and then pipe back up as a rachero station - that station was such a big part of my life growing up around Annapolis, Maryland. HFStival, etc.... damn...

  • It's back!!!!!!!!!!!!! 97.5 WHFS is now playing rocking alternative as of noon monday and Loveline with Drew and Adam is back on at 10PM peeps

  • @anglofiles87 where do you get thoes tapes

  • I remember the night I turned on my little clock radio to listen to some loveline, and hear only the sound of accordian music. So glad it happened the year I graduated, not sure how I'd make it through HS without these guys

  • WHFS has sucked since Jake Einstein sold it in 1989, they were free form but went to a playlist and went downhill until CBS pulled the plug.

  • @AlecKronicle there are streaming websites! loveline 24/7!

  • It's demographics. The Gen-X and Boomers who were into Alternative/Progressive/Punk/New Wave are a smaller group of people than the Mexicans/Latinos that are now listening to the radio. People who listen to WHFS have enough money to get music online, file sharing, all that. Radio is not necessary for it anymore.

  • god im in tears... I listened to hfs nonstop in my pre-teen years, for music and especially loveline-the day it was replaces by a mexican station was the day I almost died. this really brings back memories. sneaking loveline every night with my little alarm radio taught everything I know about sex. sure I can listen to old episodes now on youtube at 17, but it will never be the same
