You are right. TV3 is a swedish, norwegian and danish station. It also has stations in Latvia and a couple of other countries as well. The schedule is different from country to country tough. But DOOL comes on here in Norway and Sweden. TV3 Denmark took it off last year.
@Cyclops236 Well I can explain about Global, at least. Global is one of the Canadian broadcast TV networks (like ABC, CBS, NBC etc.), has aired Days for years now. As for the Channel 3, I THINK that's a Swedish station, but don't quote me on that.
Gosh, and for whatever reason, the closing credits of this brings back such good memories, yet its kind of sad, because we are in 2010 now :-( lol! Oh well!
I almost forgot about Another World! NBC used to have so many good soaps, and now they just have Days of Our Lives (rumor has it, that Days only has another 5 years left which is sad :-( ). But I remember, during my summer breaks and winter breaks, the morning lineup was Days, Another World, and Santa Barbara. Then, they got rid of SB, and changed it to Sunset Beach which was cool, then Another World got canceled, and they brought passions which was cool (and that got canceled :-().
@thirtymphs I thought Soapnet used to be skysoap until someone told me no it's actually from UK. Not to mention that I saw a Days of our Lives opening with the word Global on the bottom right corner of the screen but I also saw one with a number 3 on the top right hand corner of the screen but when MacDonald Carey commentated for Days of our Lives it also showed Subtitles but I didn't know which language it was.
@Cyclops236 It was also only in the UK and Ireland, not in the US, so this episode that aired from 1994 in the US probably aired in 1998 over there ;)

@Cyclops236 About five years, I think it went off the air in 1999 or 2000

I've never heard of skysoap before I take it this station wasn't around very long.
