It's about time... I finally got a knife that I've been wanting to get forever.

In my quest to find my next knife, I looked at a variety of Spyderco's, Benchmade's, and Kershaw's. However, in the end, my attraction to Benchmade's won me over and the simplicity and versatility of the knife is superb.

  • hey UE hows the lock up any play?

  • @usermalfuntions No, No play. At all. It's an axis lock, I wouldn't expect there to be any play in any axis-lock knife.

  • hey do you still have your knife in tip top problem free?

  • @Eadwine17 Actually, it's been almost exactly 1 year since I've had this knife.

I have had zero issues with it. I have a spyderco sharpmaker that I use to touch it from time to time, and it's still razor sharp. After my initial cleaning a year ago, I have also never re-oiled it or anything.

My only issue is that it is slightly too large for regular EDC use. But that's just my opinion. A great knife!

  • is this a knife review or an irritating ramble?

  • you sound like you're from california

  • i got a titanium frame lock spyderco military. 5.5in handle and 4 in blade, even although its big i think its wonderful for edc

  • not sure what you mean by that?

If you are referring to the closing method of lock back Spyderco knife...there is a good inch of steel [unsharpened shelf] that is below the cutting edge.

other than that I have no sharpness issues with my blades

  • lol@ZippoThisKnifeThat said "...and let the shelf of the blade drop on to your index finger..."

Do you have some sharpness issue with your knives?

  • Watch my video on what could happen to the 710 blade even if you use it to cut open the lid of a typical cooking grade rice vinegar bottle - if u love your knife that is.
