Amazing voice. The first line of the song "Doori na rahe koi", begins at such a high note - I challenge any of the current singers to match Lata's pitch.
"Saansooooon ki haraat ke" - Listen to how Lata take it smoothly upwards beginning from a high pitch and ender at an even higher pitch - without any cracks in her voice. This is sheer genius. India is lucky to have had a singer like Lata Mangeshkar :).
