I don't get it...

Why did the man who decried big government increase the national debt by ridiculous amounts?

As a true conservative that hypocrisy appals me. It's the same reason why Ron Paul originally supported Reagan in 1976, but then stop supporting his big-debt policies.

You decry Ronald Reagan because during his administration the national debt increased, yet you ignore the fact that during seven of the eight years that he was in office, he proposed spending cuts. The one year that he didn't do so - primarily in defense spending - lead inevitably to the downfall of the Soviet Union... asshole.

Can anyone tell me how all the plug-in electric vehicles we are supposed to be switching over to (unless we are important government officials) will get recharged overnight if more electric generation capacity is not created (5:24)? Also, if leaving cell-phone chargers, PC's, and DVR's plugged in all the time is a problem for our electric grid, what will happen if a bunch of us start plugging in a Chevy Volt or Nissan Leaf overnight while coal-fired plants go broke? This is soooo confusing.

Because we don't elect kings in this country. Why don't you study the Constitution, which places responsibility for the budget on CONGRESS. Reagan's policies led to increased revenues, but CONGRESS outspent those revenue increases.

A real conservative should know the Constitutional responsibilities of the various branches...

Wow! It's like he was telling the FUTURE. Because that is exactly what is happening NOW! As a child, I remember seeing Ronald Reagan In Yorktown Virginia at the Bicentenial celebration. He captivated the audience, with his words. He was one of the great presidents of the 20th century.
