SustainaBundy, as part of working for a Sustainable Bundaberg, worked on transforming a suburban back yard into a Permaculture Food Forest and gardens. It included chickens, a worm farm, a banana circle, no-dig raised bed garden and several new fruit trees.

  • PERMIE POWER!! :)

  • I'm starting a raised vegetable garden box up tomorrow, with my dad. It's going to be 16 square meters. Maybe one day we'll have chickens. Mum probably wouldn't like the idea of it though. : )

  • Great garden transformation. How wonderful to see permaculture principles put to use right in the backyard!

  • awesome video. Keep up the great work

  • love it! Im looking outside my window at my own chickens scratching in their permaculture house each night. Under our district plan Im not actually allowed to have a chicken tractor but no one from the council has been around to visit in 6 years. Its just suburbia NZ. I havent asked- Ive just taken control back for my own food!

  • Nice work Carol, Andi and SustainaBundy blitzers! Like the shirts too :) Adam in Melb
