We built nuclear powered bombers in the 50's :o...they were discontinued due to a nasty habit of spewing radioactive particles from the exhaust.

this is just a game dudes.. they just made it up the design of this large aircrafts are made in a computer they did'nt really consider the laws of physics much in this game. you are all talkin about nuclear powering this huge aircraft... u did'nt even think about aerodynamics or the other things that really matter. its just a game fellas. just let it be. and enjoy the game. chill

nuclear powered plains would be close to impossible as you need water to create steam for the turbins, fusion might work though (if we ever get it to work)

Like i previously said, Bimodal Fission rockets are different. How can heating up liquid hydrogen to use as fuel pollute the world??? The radiation is contained within thick tanks that are insulated to prevent radiation leakage.
Second using liquid hydrogen is similar to using fuel cells as fuel which its by product is water, not a pollutant.
