This is a true demonstration of vibrating short power. There is about a 3" distance traveled with no wind up, but instead power alliteration through a compressing strike.

  • Sir

Great break. I do have a question why do you use the towel? I have not done this type of break but I have done gedan seiken zuki/ down fist strike. Osu

  • @1banryukyu just a habit. i started using it back years ago when i was working on getting my stacks higher and higher. it could also be used to imitate the skin and muscle of a human. i actually have a new break in mind to do this coming soon. i guess i could refilm this tonight with no towel if it bothers everyone.

  • Nice break. It's always much harder to break at chest height and with no wind up.

  • @pitman71 thank you. you are correct.when you can not get a wind up you have to rely on internal.not mystica qi skills, either, true internal. vibration from kinetic grounding and proper body alignment. wich sadly no one seems to know about or is taught these days.this is why no one believes its possible. their iron palm training consists of nothing but hitting a bag.

  • @tao123chi

you're right about that [ no one believes its possible. their iron palm training consists of nothing but hitting a bag.] Can we do without the black pad??

  • @toishanma yeah,i guess i can not use the pad. i have used it for so long now though.

  • nice work man!! I used to do this a lot..

  • The towel seems to me like a hold out from when we used cinder block. Stuff used to leave cinder slivers, very rough surface. we used a dishcloth back then to avoid scrapes. Whenever I break concrete blocks now I still use a piece of cloth. Just a habit I guess, but the concrete can have sharp edges, too, so it seems like a wise thing to do for training.Great break, Rod!

  • @tao123chi Sir

Thank you for your reply. I have no problem with the towel, it was just a question. Thank you for your time. Osu

  • @here2rock247 u will get those skills soon.
