Nice bike, I have the 2008 sv650s and love it, amazing bike. If you were to get rid of that chrome muffler, get a new license plate kit to get rid of the huge mud guard on the back tire, and get some flush mount LEDs it would improve the look. My Leo Vince carbon fiber muffler sounds very throaty... It's quite impressive. If you want any pics or a vid of the exhaust let me know. I've done all the above to my bike.

Sup nice bike I'm a new subscriber I'm trying to get a bike so bad

Did you ever get a chance to try out a Ninja 650? Seems comparable to this in terms of price and performance. Either the SV or the 650 is probably going to be my eventual upgrade from my current 250.

It would look a lot sportier if you remove the passenger grab-rail.

wouldn't call frame sliders a cosmetic mod, more like insurance
this is a dope ass bike man, i hope ill be getting one soon

the front looks like my 03 r1, check my bike out, i sold it last week cause insurance in canada is a rip off, i bought a cbr 125 instead, but switching back to a 1000 or 600 after im 21

I have the exact same bike as you. just got it.
Love it so far. got it wit some damage at a great price so I'm workin on it still. Makin sure it will be good to go on the freeway without nothin fallin off. Grab yourself a nice exhaust and you'll be set. I plan on major upgrades and changes. Good step up though from your 250 to a 650. How do you like that torque? :)
Hey bro that's a nice bike but I have one question were did u get the frame sliders cause I only found short ones

@jerashlayjay , try ebay. They have a few options that you can select from.

how much harder is this to control than a 250?

It took a few weeks to learn how to deal with the extra weight and power, but at this point it's no more difficult to handle than the 250. In fact, I feel more comfortable on the SV650s than the 250.

Nice !!
I like the bike, do you know where the fairings were bought from? (the fairings around the engine). Mine does not have them, thanks a lot

Not exactly sure where the lower fairings were purchased, but I would recommend that you check eBay. They often have good deals.
