  • READ THE BOOK MILKWEED BY JERRY SPINELLI! FUCKING GOOD BOOK GOD DAMNIT! lol

  • thx

  • Well I stand to be corrected. I just googled this type of milkweed and learned something new tonight!! I'm always open to learning new things and admit to being wrong when I am. Thanks again for pointing this out and I have learned something new!

  • no prob! milkweeds are really easy to identify due to the heart shaped leaves! most have heart shaped leaves, some dont. there are many verities of them. from wut ive read...blue vine is the monarchs top milkweed it likes

  • Hey, I just watched the video on milkweed and bees. I took horticulture way back when I was in high school and the vines that you have growing on the fence are NOT milkweed. Common milkweed grows straight up and has big broad leaves. You have a flowering vine but not sure what the name of the vines are.

  • thx for watching. but yes it is milkweed! why does it have milkweed pods. i've researched it & it is 100% bluevine milkweed. monarchs were all over it this yr! monarch caterpillers everywhere too.

  • Monarch caterpillars will eat parsley.

  • good job on planting the milkweeds- Bluevine,Honey vine ,sandvine milkweed=same plant..and the beehouse nice!

  • @THREEFLOORSDOWN1 How do you know this is not Cynanchum louseae? (black swallow-wort milkweed)

  • Hi Guy!

Thanks for answering back. I NEVER heard of this type of milkweed and never heard of it being in a vine form. I'll have to do some research on it but the milkweed that grows here in Pennsylvania grows straight upright and has broad leaves and then the pods in the fall. Thanks again for your reply! Keep helping the Monarch butterfly!
