I am not for what the flyer fan did to that ranger fan but the rangers fan did not use his head and i thought being a police ofc requires street smart. 1. Why didnt he bring his off duty weapon with him especially in philly? 2. why he had a ranger jersey on when mostly flyers in philly? This couldve be prevented if he used his head. Now, I wish the flyer guy gets all the punishments in the court.

It obviously pissed off New York, because unless you don't have a clue, this type of stuff has, is and will continue to happen in arena's, bars, parking lots etc. all over North America where fans get together to watch a game, get drunk, develop beer muscles, and before you know it the fists are flying.

People have to remember this is the only sport that allows fighting and for good reason, it keeps the stick work down.

The thing that irks me about this is the fact they keep mentioning over and over and over and over and over and over........... again that he was a Marine and a Police Officer. What do those two remotely have to do with this fight? While they were kicking his ass, did they scream "MARINES SUCK!!" "POS COP!" There is only one reason I can think of why they made it such a focal point and that is to gain sympathy.
