She playfully shoved him a bit and looked back down at the picture. The young girl in the picture reminded her so much of Paris. Her sweet, beautiful ---
"Paris!" she screeched, quickly reminding herself her daughter was at home with her mother & they both had no idea where she was. She hurried out of his bedroom and downstairs.
Nick followed right behind her. Watching every move she made, he also helped get her stuff as she went into the bathroom to fix her hair a bit.
"Wait," he pulled her arm back. Her body shot towards him. "I never got the chance to thank you..." She grinned.
"No problem. It's not like it's the first time I've helped a friend out in a situation like this," she informed him. "Dont ask," she quickly added. He chuckled.
"Got it." He opened the door for her like the gentleman he was. "Is it alright if I come over later? I wanna hang out with you and that little princess of yours," he proposed.
"Uhh, I don't know ..." she responded nervously. The last thing she wanted was her getting too attached to him.
"Oh c'mon. It's not like I'm going to kidnap the kid," he joked.
"Not.Funny." she said strictly, pointing her finger to his face.
"Woah there tiger. Calm down. Just a joke," he chuckled softly. "Alright, sorry. But c'mon," he continued to push on as he apologized. Miley gave in and smiled.
"It's sweet how much you want to spend time with us. Come around 1. No earlier than that or you'll be disturbing her lunch," she warned then cracked a smile.

"Mom ! I'm home," she shouted, rushing up the stairs.
"Mommy!" Paris said excitedly, dropping everything in her hands, running up to her mom to hug her. Miley smiled and looked at her disappointed mom.
"Do you do this often? Do you leave her with people while you're out doing whatever?" she interrogated, a bit aggrivated.
"NO!" Miley shouted back, anger filling up inside of her. She WAS NOT the girl she once was, the girl her mom never met.
"Then you better have one hell of an explanation, Miss. Cyrus. You are a mother now with responsiblities. I thought I raised you right --" Miley cut her off.
"Mom, stop. I don't need this talk from you. This was the first night I've EVER done this and I was caught off gaurd. I'm sorry, okay?" she shouted back, rolling her eyes. Miley's mom calmed down a bit and looked down.
"She didn't cry tonight. She slept perfectly fine," her mom said to her. Miley's head looked up at her mom and pulled away from Paris.

He stood infront of her door. One hand pressing the bell & the other behind his back, holding onto a surprise. The door opened slowly. Looking down, he smiled.
"Hi sweetie. Are you done with lunch?" Nick asked casually. She nodded. "Is mommy home?" he asked politely.
"Cut the act Nicholas and get inside," she said coming down the steps. He laughed and closed the door behind him as Paris ran into the kitchen after her mother.
"Your mom home?" he asked walking into the kitchen and standing in the hallway, one hand still behind his back.
"...Nooo. Is that something I should be cautious of?" she asked suspiciously. He chuckled and walked closer to her and little Paris behind her. He pulled out the bouquet of flowers from his back, receiving a gasp from Miley.
"What's this for?" she whispered, taking the flowers into her hands and putting them against her face, inhaling the sweet scent, her eyes sliding close with a smile plastered on her face.
"Nothing. Just felt like making someone's day. Did I make yours?" he asked, his eye brows raising with a grin. She nodded, her face still not changing. "So are you gonna stand her and smell it all day or are we gonna get out of this place and actually hang out?" he joked. She opened her eyes slowly and cracked a smile.

I can't wait to continue this story ! no school tomorrow so I'll write a bit then (:
