Driving along Northern New Mexico

I was amazed to see the sights in NM as it was my first time. I want to come back here to see more. I felt I was on a different planet :)
This is recorded along the old Highway 66, but most on HWY 40. The city you see in the middle is Albuquerque.

You need to get off of that damn interstate, next time go north to new mexico 64, then you'll see some scenery.

@catmandu57 Thank you for the info. We were in a bit of a hurry so we drove this way. But we did notice lots of history and culture and want to come back as tourist. Looks like this would take a month to do! :)

Entering NM from where TX?
