what he did is cruel but he did it in purpose!

the point is that dogs like that die in many countries and most americans buy tortured dogs from puppy mills..... so whats worse letting the dog die or supporting places that kill millions of dogs yearly?

people in the Us are worst when it comes to animals than the rest of the world.

While sitting in your American home it's easy to criticize. In reality this dog along with countless others are struggling in the streets of Costra Rica. I understand this could be seen as 'cruel'. I am a vegan biologist and I love animals.

The artist was trying to make a point. It got radically skewed. She was directing attention to issues of overpopulation of dogs. Thinking about it your worries should go past this dog to others that are starving there and maybe you would try to help them.

You created one amazing video! He/she is a sick sick sick bastard! Responding to peoples comments about this whole thing being exagerated - I hope so to! I really do! Then again where did the pictures come from? I though 'IT' was a he, but 'IT' is a she? WOW - completly sick minded.

He/ she proved a point all right, not one that there are dogs dying stray in the, street but that people are sick minded enough to abuse an animal, not fricken remebering that they feel everything we do........

Also a lot of people say its so people would start feeding animals, that were on the street. I say **** If he really cared, he would feed dogs him self, and post pictures of dogs/paint pictures of dogs starved, not use a real one. Thats like saying the best way to stop child starvation is to get a starting child and tie him up for everyone to watch. He's just saying that to save his ass. He's a sick man.

I'm very impressed with some ppl. Really, do you think that this kind of torture was an art? I don't give a shit about how many dogs die every day in costa rica or etc. These dogs die everyday by accidents, by perverts, by psychos etc just like WE die everyday with the same ways. But please trust me on this one, I love dogs, I know a lot of things about dogs and I know that dogs cannot die by starvation.They're warriors. Only God can take a life, not a bloody junkie who calls himself an artist.

The dog was a stray that Guillermo tied up for two to three hours. The point of the exhibit was to make people realize that in the street, no one would have cared if the dog was starving; however, when the dog was being showcased, people's opinion of the site changed... significantly. The point of the exhibit was to recognize hypocrasy. It's a very human thing to experience, after all.

I must admit, I felt the same way you did when I first heard about this. I understand it now, though.

@Fauxdreadlocks if you love animals how can you agree with what this artist did? If she was trying to get the message across about about the over poulation of dogs she could have pulically saved, spayed and neutered the dogs she apparently wanted to help rather than give this dog zero chance at life.
