@Puppyblade86 is the quigley the canal with snakes in it? i heard about it but im not sure..,im a junior in highschool and im going through OCS when i graduate college, since you have already been through it can you tell me everything you know about it? if its not asking to much that is...im just curious as to what ill be going through in 5 years.

@queefer02 , I completely disagree with this. I wasnt the best runner, I went in running a 22:30, and I had little to no trouble with the running at OCS (my fastest @ OCS was a 20:57/Final PFT). Striving for the an 18, and all that moto stuff is well and good, but the fact remains, there are many MARINE OFFICERS who dont run 18's or 19's, or even 20's for that matter. And the candidate that ran a 15 is not the norm, I promise you. OCS is 80% mental, and 20% physical....seriously.

@blakzab 20 minutes is not hauling ass. We had a candidate run the pft in just under 15 minutes, that's hauling ass. As an officer candidate, you should strive for perfection, at least a 18 min run time. If you run 21-22 it's going to be a hard time for you to keep up at OCS, but it is doable.
