In this Youtube sermon, Mark Driscoll teaches unbelievers to "do business with God" in order to be saved. During a "silent time", unbelievers are to follow certain procedures and steps to bribe God into saving them. And Driscoll's here to help -- the broker, the middle man, the mediator between the unbelievers and God.

What do you think of this theology coming out of Mars Hill church, Seattle?

  • Watch rest of his videos. Then you'll feel like a idiot

  • @JudgeEden So your saying that this guy isnt twisting driscolls words and the bibles teachings so that he can discourage, confuse, and trick people about what is being taught here? And im plenty capable or critical thought. I never just accept whatever people say so how dare you think you know me and who I am just because i say that this guy who comments on driscolls video is a deceiver. I only accept what i read in the Bible and what God confirms in my heart.

  • @liammchenry

Yeah, because we are supposed to get our truth from Atheists. Come on, quit being dumb. It matters not if your friend thinks he knows what the correct doctrine is. Because the fact of the matter is, HE DOESN'T.

AndrewBain, WHY do you not answer these ridiculous posts!? Why do you let them go on and berate you? Every single comment I have read on every video i've seen is dripping with venom. Every comment is filled to the brim with stupidity. This is ridiculous.

  • @MrJfreak357

What you just said sounds as if it came from the mouth of a demon. Christians today, utterly void of any critical thought whatsoever. It is truly a joy seeing Christians that ARE though. And what I mean by that is you cannot think critically on WHAT you are learning and holding to. You take everything in, JUST BECAUSE, the person that is teaching you SEEMS holy and he SEEMS to know what he is talking about.

You couldn't care LESS if what is being taught is found in the Bible.

  • @936justme

You need to calm down. Rabid Christians, I cant stand your type. If there IS a fault, shouldn't we point it out!!? Why would we not!?

And does it matter how many people he brought to Jesus to know what he's talking about? No, it doesn't.

  • @cmc1of3

Please, by all means, list these lies or shut up.

Bearing false witness is also sin, which you would be doing if he is not lying. I know this comment is 3 years ago, but the rashness and ignorance dripping from this post was too much.

  • your videos...lame

  • lame...

  • @cmc1of3 this could be seen as tainting christianity just as much man, this was 3 years ago tho, so i assume you stance on you comment might have changed? i dont mean to attack or offend you. just a simple observation. iv done it before to, a lot actually.

  • Driscoll is one of the strongest supporters in america for grace alone salvation and calvinistic stances. knowing his teachings and who he is, its obvious to see his intentions here.

business, as in a transaction. in a sense, the sinner does business with god to gain salvation. with total humility, the sinner needs to sincerely asks for forgiveness in return receiving salvation. that's what he is saying. its a transaction, you give jesus your sin and receive grace.
