This is just how my mare used to be when i first had her, with the rearing and backing up, except she used to love rearing up and leaping forward at the same time, but she is so different now, and schools lovely and hacks with all four feet on the ground 90% of the time (: it took a very long and hard year and a half to get her right, but as you've proven as well, good things come to those who wait, and sometimes you just need a little patience (:
