All these months later I return to this video. It has become one of my all time favorite anthems and fills me with love and hope and determination to join the struggle. Deep thanks for whoever pulled this group of people together and made it happen. You have created a magical moment that has touched many of us out here beyond. Solidarity in Kentucky - peace and love.

I shared this video with all of my 800 plus contacts on my email list plus on my you tube channel. This is what I wrote with the attachment:

This made me cry. I have had a heavy heart lately, wondering what is wrong with humanity, why can't we finally be the loving humans that I know we are. All we care about is our selfish needs, we fight about religion, about oil and domination. Would this not be a better place if we were all one.

Beautiful video it has touched me to take action.

Four years ago, I was beginning my journey into MUNs. During my first MUN as Staff, I was asked to prepare a welcome video using this song as its main theme. I didn't pay attention to the song at all. Later, I listened carefully to it. I cried when I really understood its message.

Four years later, I'm a Med Student. I attended seven MUNs while in High School, and it was because of my MUNs that I decided to study medicine. Thank you for opening my eyes.

I think you missed the point of the video. It's just trying to get people, people all over the world, involved in the fight for human rights. No where does this video say that Amnesty International expects the UN or any group of people to magically change the world and the way the leaders react to human rights abuses with a simple display of song and dance. It's a MUSIC VIDEO. It's for a good cause, but that's still all it is: a music video.

Probably the most profound display of naivety on a subject that was so deadly serious. Are they really trying to change the UN's policy of inaction against genocide through the use of a groovy tune? And then the UN members start swaying to the music? REALLY? Pathetic.

there is something about this kind of music that gives you hope! I love it.... Indeed, we are all in this together... and the price of silence is destruction, death.
