  • @58tkdmike that, Mike, was a hateful comment. Much more hateful than ANYTHING he has ever said. He's never called down any evil on a person. If I'm wrong, please tell me what he's said that makes him a 'hateful idiot'. Please, quote it here.

  • I have seen the Voyage of the Dawn Trader, and it is even more evangelistic than Lion Witch and the Wardrobe. This endorsement will help the ticket sales, and despite Glen Beck being a Mormon, even Mormons can be good human beings and sometimes say excellent things that indirectly advance the cause of Biblical Christianity. Good on ya, Glen!

  • To those who say Narnia parallels the Bible; I'm not sure I entirely agree with this statement. Does Narnia have some similarities between it and the Bible; yes. But we could argue the same about Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings. My personal belief is if you are a true Christian and an author, your faith will come out in your writing. I believe that is the case here. C.S. Lewis started a purely fictional book for kids and in the process God turned it into a vessel for his Word.

  • I should also say that all Christians should support this movie and take non-Christians to see the film. The more people who see these films, the more people will be exposed to the Narnia books and other writings of C.S. Lewis. Some of these people will become Christians. So remember, Christian, not to nitpick about these films, but promote them and use the evangelistic thrust that is in the Narnia books. Take people to see Voyage and explain the Gospel behind the Narnia books.

  • Thank you Mr. Beck! Wish I had seen the show!

  • Religious tolerance is great, but in this case, it doesn't apply. The fact remains, CS Lewis wrote these books as a parallel to the Bible. That's not up for debate. It's incredible to me that people are so desperate to be a person of their time, and kiss everyone's butt that they're willing to make themselves look moronic to anyone who knows what they're talkinga about. Why we constantly bring up these stupid issues to divide ourselves unnecessarily is beyond me. Have we all gone mad?

  • That is so awesome! Especially how everyone got books and tickets to see the movie. I wish I was there, haha.
