On October 15th, 2007, New Zealand police raided various homes throughout the North Island with warrants issued under the Terrorism Suppression Act. One of those arrested was 24-year-old Hamilton woman Marama Mayrick, who had just broken both elbows and a wrist in a tragic stilt walking accident. All she wanted to do was put on an art exhibition, but fate and terror charges seemed to be getting in the way. This is her story. Will the art exhibition about orchids go ahead? Or will prison and firearms charges get in the way? David Farrier reports.

You do realize that a priority for National, as keeping with their ONE PEOPLE/ONE NATION theme, is to abolish the Maori seats in Parliament, eliminate any credibility of the Treaty in future legislations AND to top it all of, put an end to 'race based funding' (as they call it)???
