If you visit Quepos don't go up on the "hill". (I'm not talking about the road to Manuel Antonio, which is fine.) I'm refering to the hill there in town. There are a multitude of craters up there the size of a car and two feet deep. The road used to be paved. Quepos is less afluent compared to Jaco but I still love it because it's still charmingly real.
