@LoserLikeme88 This was one of the most emotional performances of this song I have ever seen him do. And I've seen him perform several times. Several of us were kind of choked up in the audience. It was obvious how much he had missed his StarKid friends having moved to LA. At least Joey Richter is his roommate now so he's NOT ALONE. (sorry, couldn't resist!)

@mandys315 Joey Richter lives with Darren in Los Angeles. He moved in with Darren after he graduated from University of Michigan last spring so he could look for work in LA as an actor. Darren and Joey are best friends in real life.

I don't know whether it's becuase he's on Glee and getting professional help with his singing or just his voice maturing, but it he does seem to have a much stronger voice compared to most video's I've seen of his (Which is a lot!).
I love how emotional he gets as well, it's good to see that the fame hasn't gone to his head and he knows his roots and will never forget them. This is why he is my favourite performer (And yes, I'm a lad!).
Absolutely fantastic performance.

@safcjamie Please watch Teenage Dream and Stutter on my channel from his Chicago Market Days performance. You are right, his vocal quality is hugely improved from 2009 when he did AVPM. And yes, having met and talked with the man, I can assure you, he doesn't forget for one single second where he comes from, nor
does he take any of his success lightly. Most humble person I've ever met. And the sweetest.
