We're using Progressive Phonics, http://www.progressivephonics.com/
with Emily. She can read much of what we put in front of her. Indeed, we write phrases for her to say on flashcards when she's requesting something, but has trouble saying it. Reading simple CVC words helps with her oral reading fluency. Progressive Phonics is cool because it takes much of the demand of reading off of the child. The stories are short and funny.
and another thing shouldn't she be reading books that have more complex words. please dont say nothing about autism that's not true,
