The crazy people are the ones with training wheels. :) Both my kids learned on balance bikes. My 6yo son got his first bike at 3. My 26mo daughter is already riding a 12" Specialized around at home and a 16: Redline Pitboss at the BMX track. Neither one have ever had "training" wheels for a minute.
