  • I think he can see things that are too ordinary for most people to notice.

  • @montecarlo362 this song is about the busted people of England being sent to inhumane conditions an ocean or 2 away in the arsehole of the world my friend

  • Anyone know what McGregor's Kiln is ??

  • one of the best songs from a peel fall session. classic.

  • @Herbidaecious nope the whole point of The Fall is that the middle class are fed so much shit in their schooling that they cannot see the wood for the trees whereas the working class see things as they are hence the phrase "THE REAL PEOPL E".

  • this song is about australians in europeaaah.

  • Got this on the '458589' vinyl compilation - starts off with Mark talking to some Australian bloke in a pub who says 'you can have me until April 20th' (talking about tour dates or something)... This is my favourite Fall track, together with Mollusc in Tyrol and the live version of 'Mere Pseud Mag Ed'

  • like most poetry i have fuck all idea about what this is about , half don t want to know : i saw rolf haffis walk past me a couple of years back when i was homeless in london and he was doing an art s dig in covent garden , i guess that counts , and i remember paul hogan on channal fuhrur when it started , though thats cheating .

  • this and guest informant and l.a. and spoilt victorian child and paintwork were rarely off my walkman in the 80's....jesus-ah....they wrote some fucking classics, brix was way hot, too.

  • My favourite Fall tune and I've only got a scratchy cassette copy of this - what a tune.....

  • i love the guitar sound in this; angular and cutting but relatively clean.
