Demos: MLB 11 The Show

Here is my take on MLB 11 The Show.

Though I'm not a big analog stick fan and will never use it, I did use it in the demo and it worked really well.

The NL West is so harmless.

@MidKnightMellow The controls do take some getting used to, but I'm pretty sure that when the game comes out in a few days I'll be going back to the traditional controls for hitting.

I certainly wouldn't call the NL West harmless. There are far stronger divisions in baseball, you can't get any tougher than the AL East right now, but it's far from the worst in all of baseball. Especially when the World Series Champions are coming out of the NL West.

@YNOTtheTIGER - It's not the worst but at times can be. I will say when it's good, those teams don't get half the props they should from the media.

@MidKnightMellow It is--at times--a sad division, especially given the teams within the NL West. I agree that the NL West doesn't get the media attention that it should. MLB is a AL East centric world right now.

@YNOTtheTIGER haha! I'll have to pick this game up and we can go head to head. TBH, Madden/Triple Play were my favorite games on PSX-PS2... and I loved High Heat 2005... somewhere around 2006-2007 I got out of baseball games, although I played MLB10 a bit and had a lot of fun, but it was only a rental. I want to play now if for no other reason to hear "The World Champion Giants!" every game haha.

@veggie530 Just you wait until the game is released. The first thing I am going to do is play an exhibition game, Padres vs. Giants at Petco or perhaps AT&T Park so I can put a whoopin' in your beloved Giants. It won't mean much in the grand scheme of things, but it will cleanse my soul for using the Giants in this demo.
