Peace Middle East' Message - Ayatollah Boroujerdi - پیام صلح خاورمیانه

Ayatollah Seyed Hossein Kazemeini Boroujerdi sent a message from inside his prison walls, speaking of peace in the Middle East and the cessation of war and conflict among Muslims and Jews, a topic that has received extensive reflection in the world's media:
As we know Abraham was the father of Isaac and Ishmael. The identity of the Jews rests on Isaac, and Ishmael represents the leader of the Arabs. As Jews and Christians embody the inheritors of the sons of Isaac and Islam descends from Ishmael, Muslims and Jews are cousins. How can one accept that bloodshed and conflict should govern among them? Is the quarrel between Muslims and Jews justifiable in accordance with Divine revelation? Why should this familial relationship not be respected? The history of humanity will not forget the crusades, during which the sons of Abraham fought one another. If we have a brotherhood with the followers of the sons of Abbas and Omaya, who murdered Shiite Imams, how can we fight the sons of Abraham?
