  • At first I was upset that Tiana was a frog for most of the movie, but that's the storyline of the Princess and the Frog, and I mean Mulan was a man for most of the movie and I still saw her as inspirational, entertaining, and beautiful. Hopefully, there'll be more princesses of color in future Disney movies.

  • I agree with Whoopi. I wasn't pleased with the film either but, we can't look to Hollywood to give us a leg up in the depiction of blacks in the media. We have to do it ourselves. Otherwise, we will always be victims of racial stereotyping.

  • She's truly BEAUTIFUL!!!!

  • @SuniDays87 ...I agree..I feel you...thats why blacks have to stop waiting on hollywood (white america) to depict us in a equal and positive light because it won't happen...we have to represent ourselves...honestly I know it and you know it...that movie was half-assed Disney work and creativity

  • @SuniDays87 ...I agree with you. I feel you...its not right but hey...we as black people should create our own cartoons and entertainment. we will never be pleased with their (whites) depiction of us...so shouldn't we depict ourselves...but hey I'm scared of that too because black people don't think much of themselves like they use to anyway.....sorry I'm ranting now lol

  • @treestar That's exactly what I just said in my comment.

  • @treestar AND on top of that she was a chamber maid AND they didn't even give her a black prince ....like black men STILL aren't good engough, even in a damn cartoon. SMH. At first he didn't even look black, but then after protest from black people they darkened him up a bit.

No other princess was a freakin' maid or a damn animal! "First black princess"-AND IT ONLY TOOK 100 YEARS

Theyve had every other race but black: THE PEOPLE WHO BUILT THIS FREAKIN COUNTRY! God I cant stand white people

  • @treestar And whe Paul Mooney did his review of this movie on here on youtube, he said that he didn't like the movie because she was actually only the "black princess" for like the 1st few minutes of the movie, and so fo the whole movie she is a green frog. And so little black girls, really didn't get the full experience of having a "black princess."
