WOW!! They easily out-accelerate an RDC. Nice equipment. I really hope DMU's really catch on like RDC's did back in the 1950's.

I think if they at least put two of them together back to back they'd somewhat resemble a train (something like an inflated light rail). Also the whistle is so obnoxious! They should use a traditional minor 7th chord rather than that awful thing!

Melt them down , we could use them to build more Rails here , there ugly , they look like bullets form a gun, and its just horrible

On the streamlined side, they use RS3K's. K5LA's blow.

Atleast they use a REAL horn called a LESLIE compared to run of the mill shitter K5LA's. UNLIKE NJT

hmmmmm, thats just down right ugly , looks like half of a Train , you got to be kidding me. For Portland this is an embrassing investment, at least get trains that look like NJT or Sound Transit!

That is a gauntlet track. It is nessessary to shift the passenger trains close enough to the platform for wheelchairs to enter without a bridge plate, while allowing the freight trains that also use the track to safely clear the platform.
