Two things I love about this:
There was a period of time where it seemed like Michael McDonald was singing backing vocals on about every other song you heard--which is why he raced into the studio to do RLTW, and then ran out. He had to get to the next session.
Gerry Todd perfectly backtiming his sign-off. Used all the intro, and didn't step on the vocals--just like we were supposed to back then.

He did the vocals for the Christopher Cross song (obviously) but Rick Moranis did the vocals as Michael MacDonald for the Tom Monroe and the Carpets Galore Sketches.

Thanks for posting this classic Gerry Todd video. And "Crosby, Stills and Nash's" "White Christmas" was hilarious! SCTV was the best.
