  • Going natural is only expensive when people can't stick to something that is good for their hair. If you find a product you love then stick to it and stop spending hundred of dollars for something better.

  • I make my own hair products...there is no way in hell I 'll spend so much money on these other products. Basically, check the ingredients from those natural hair care products, and research homemade hair shampoo recipes, and concoct your own recipes. First thing is the distilled water, then about 3/4 cp depending on the thickness N length of hair castille shampoo, oils, and essential oils. That's it.

  • Yep. I agree. All these natural hair product lines like Kinky curly, Carol's daughter and Miss Jessies will have you fooled. I thought it was expensive to go natural too but then I started doing my research and found dirt cheap products that will help my hair to stay moisturized and clean. I am cheap as hell when it comes to hair products and I have been very successful at finding cheaper alternatives to the higher end products. I don't even use store bought plastic caps anymore. I use bags lol.

  • @SoftWhisperss if u don't mind me asking, what do u use to make your products? I'm in the beginning stages of going natural

  • Thanks I needed this cause I was just thinking about buying some new products.

  • Came across your vid-awesome! Glad I discovered it ...

  • Extra Virgin Olive oil is very good. That is because it is less processed. It can be used as a skin moisturizer Aids digestion, filled with antioxidents which can protect you from certain illnesses, and can aid with the ease of stomach ulcers. There is so much more. King of oils. Oh, and you can use it in your hair mixed with something else. Extra Virgin olive oil is less handled.

  • @mssquirrely I know this is a really really old comment but I am just starting out. I grew up in the eighties and all I can remember was my mother using Blue magic which she used for hot combing my hair, Royal crown, ughh! It always smelled like bacon grease to me! LOL! Then the wet dreadful Jheri curl which I had more hair but I had a sweet tasting wet juicy head! LOL! We sure didn't have all of this information then. Bless YouTube! LOL!

  • Well it want come on for me so idk

  • Does anyone know how to go natural with out cutting your hair? Last time I had a perm was Nov. 28.. I don't want to go back to perks anymore. But I'm so frustrated

  • Ladies, Shea butter is an sealant, there is no water in it! For it to be a moisturizer, one must get water into it. After I spray veg. glycerin n water mix in my hair, put leave-in conditioner and seal with shea mix of coconut, olive n jojoba oils. You don't need alot unless you have lots of hair I don't short boy-cut ceaser. My hair looks and feels great. If you want water n shea you must preserve it with oils for that reason and use a product for blending with water. Look up products...TRACK

  • just to let you know, there is some mineral oil in the lotion you show in the video. dimethicone is silicone oil.
