Focus of the Class is to teach inspectors how to stop writing scrape and paint violations on fire escapes and write Repair and Paint Violations on fire escapes. The change in wording will force owners to use a licensed Fire Escape Inspector/Structural Engineer to evaluate the fire escape first. Second issue repair recommendations report then 3rd have it painted after structural inspection by city, fire and engineer sign off.
