  • great dubbing! look forward to more!

  • @Marbles471 1960's limits in animation fluidity and use of color.

I don't know what you mean when you say "the era's limits in animation." One of the big differences between 1970s anime and current anime is how much MORE free the movement used to be. No, it was never exactly full animation, western-style, but there were many flourishes of actual movement. And the poses and expressions were much more dynamic and loose. Too much anime today is overly conservative and restrained. Stuff like this feels much more alive.

  • first series was not bad at all, for the era's limits in animation. Second series was astounding and wildly entertaining mainly due to the US voice talent and the third version was a bit strained with all characters redesigned and absurdity overriding adventure.

  • @WitchDoctorFilms That last one doesn't quite apply to Lupin. The music is everything in Lupin, Yuji Ohno and the Explosion Band were pivotal in the feel and trademark of the anime.
