The thing about this solo is that Daniel reliazes that hey im at a nickelback concert with a bunch of drunk people listening to me...i should just play fast and hard. Daniel can play polyrhythmic and odd time solos he just knows that this isn't the time for that kind of drumming

I saw him at a guitar show two years ago, he was playing with some serious chops laden fusion, he's the real deal, a badass motherfucker. this is a NICKELBACK gig you fucking retards, the drum solo will reflect such, it`s called versatility and being able to play the right thing for the right gig. to all you nameless losers with the gall to think you`re better than he is, keep dreaming little dreamer.

i do prefer dw to other brands, but you're totally right. it really depends on what kinda sounds n stuff you prefer.
