@jasondasti Yep i have this camera and set the audio to -24dB or -30dB (depends on what you'r filming) and on the Rode VMP at 0dB but I'm planning to buy a Tascam DR-05 ;) I hate it when the audio gets louder and I either have to switch to -10db on the mic or go into the audio-menu to decrease the level. The AGC isn't a feature I like, I prefer to set the audio to a fix level :)

have you used the manual audio settings or just the AGC ?

Yes TM700. Without the rode video mic pro I use automatic audio settings, 0+ AGC. Do you have the panasonic tm700 video camera.
