@twdalbeck27 Actually, if you use this rule, it will get you thru situations that bring on "fear." Admittedly, my experience with this is nowhere in league with the novel's meaning of it, but yes, when facing down street thugs, dealing with legal battles, superiors, etc, all that one need remind oneself that it will all pass, is to just have the Litany Against Fear in mind... "They can kill ya, but they can't eat ya,"... well yes, there ARE those who might "eat ya," but unlikely...
