One of my favorite 4 Hour Body, slow carb breakfasts. This meal is an egg dish with black beans, chard, spinach, avocado drizzled with decadent macadamia oil.

  • Sorry, but even if you turn it around anyhow, it is still SAD breakfast, very high in fat, very high in protein.

All of the human cells runs on glucose, glycogen, including the brain. Very low in carbs, too low.

Read 80 10 10, China study, Heart attack proof, Grain damage, Nutrition and Athletic Performance ...

You don't have to be a vegan to be healthy, but this breakfast is simple SAD breakfast. Thx

  • @EvoExpress Just so you get both sides of the story you may want to read Denise Minger of RawfoodSOS (dot com) response to the China Study it's very enlightening.

Also, the Weston A. Price Foundation (dot org) is a good place to read up on the benefits of a high fat/high protein diet.

  • @healthnutnation I am sorry to hear that you you believe in those. Blogger Denise Minger has no scientific background, no evidence, and no educational background. She has faulty understanding of the whole concept. This is made clear in the answer of DR-PHD T COLIN CAMPBELL on the vegsource site in 2010/7/21.

Denise Minger is pushed by Mark Sisson and the Weston Price foundation. Bad habits making look good also happened with DR ATKINS if you remember. High Fat High Protein = Cardiac Arrest.

  • @EvoExpress- Minger has the same scientific background as Campbell. She spent over a year going over all of the research he used to write The China Study. BTW, I am a proud member of the WAPF and subscribe to Mark Sisson. You'll also find a copy of Robb Wolf's, The Paleo Solution on my shelf. So I'm afraid we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. Good day.

  • @EvoExpress Oh wow. For the record, I eat a high fat, high protein, low carb diet and consume carbs from no source other than vegetables. At 85kg and less than 10% body fat, I'm pretty sure I'm healthier than all fatties eating 8 portions of pasta a day.

  • @EvoExpress egg whites and add more beans... you can make your own decisions you know

  • I highly recommend reading facebook ((dot com)) /profile.php?id=100003267210025. Most ppl are in the dark as to WHAT is really in their typical protein selections.

  • @mikethatdude1

First of all, had you actually watched the vid you'd know that the meat IS chicken sausage.

This breakfast is for people on the 4-Hour Body dietary philosophy. It is specifically targeted for that POV. I'm sure if she was covering ANOTHER diet, the recipes would be different & fit within those specific frameworks. Maybe if she used crayons to get her point across some of you would have an easier time understanding.

  • @EvoExpress- Spoken like just about every vegan I've ever met; a fanatical dietary imp who doesn't have an open mind about much. I'm guessing you're a liberal too, yes?

I do think that the vegan diet must have some impact on rationale thought. It never ceases to amaze me the degree of righteousness vegan's profess when it comes to what to put into the body.

  • Looking at her make breakfast just made me hungry.

  • 3 whole eggs and 2 link sausages.........cholesterol......fat...Im not sure what else to say. i mean this would be good if you have a serious workout to compesate for the calorie intake. but for weight loss or fitness in general i would change it to 3 egg whites and chicken for substitute of the sausage.

  • @healthnutnation So you say that writing a blog is the same background as a PHD Diploma, DR Diploma, a Lifetime of work on health, statistics, epidemics.

BTW, D.Minger has no access to 5% of the facilities, laboratories, where Dr Campbell spent his life in. Therefore it is rude to say towards a lifetime scientist that a 25 year old has the same scientific background.

BtW, if you read the article what I wanted to show you on the vegsource site, the answer of Mr. Cambell to Minger, you would see
