@HeathenCanuck The biggest issue with Topp is that he's not even an MP (he's always been a back room type of guy), so it would be extremely hard for him to lead a party when he doesn't even have a seat in the house of commons (he would have no voice). The other problem I have with him is when he talk he seems very soft spoken (since he's not an MP there is very little footage of him in debates, I wonder if he could even handle himself in one).

@GeniusSelfproclaimed Honestly, I think Cullen and Topp are the only two I've met who *could* handle themselves against Harper. Cullen wins hands-down in a variety of ways, but I really don't see what gets so many people's backs up about Topp. Nash would be reduced to a pile of progressive jelly.

@HeathenCanuck glad you changed your mind on topp.I think he would get eaten alive in a debate( I like him, just don't see him as a leader). I'll be signing up to get my NDP card this week to vote for Cullen.

@GeniusSelfproclaimed My french is crap, so I can't vouch for it, but those I've talked to say Nathan is pretty good with "la belle langue". Met him last week, and he has my vote. I used to be a Brian Topp supporter.

this dude has to be the next ndp leader....something about a bald politician makes them trust worthy...I just hope he doesn't wreck the NDP's progress in quebec because he's not born there

Nathan is a really cool guy and very open minded and hip, unlike many if his stuffed shirt older colleagues.
