The earth has been cooling off for the last 10 years and not warming. Not a day of watching TV goes by that some senator, congressman or Obama does not repeat the lie of man made global warming... Two cheats on the graph of global anomalies in temperature

1) they stop it in 2008 (a cool year - strongly influenced by a La Nina) after starting it in 1998 an abnormally warm year (the strongest El Nino ever recorded)

If they included 2009 it would show a rise equal to 1998.

2) they start the IPCC projection from the top of the 1998 peak. It should be from the 5-year mean which is about 0.2-0.3C cooler and the IPCC projection would go right through the middle and hit 2009 dead center
