Nocera had more than one hit she had Summer Summer Time and Let's Go two good party songs I had a great time in the late 80's playing these tracks at clubs and house parties.

@usamud kmel in 80's and early mid 90's was the shit!!! they don't have radio programming like they used to. going on family trips to san mateo from sacramento was dope because right when you get into vallejo, we would turn on kmel...ksfm couldn't even come close.

@bammer259 I hate to sound overly nostalgic, but I think I agree with you! I was a teenager in the 1980s and it was a very happy time in my life. Music was a big part of that happiness. So much great stuff--New Wave, Freestyle, Hair Metal, funky R&B, and straightforward pop.
Nocera's about as cheesy as it gets, but that's partly why I love her! A woman with very little singing talent having the time of her life nonetheless. :-)

I saw her at the Salinas Armory Hall back in '87 and I love her music, she is however, a little performance-challenged.
All in all this and other music from the '80's is pure goodness.

That's right KMEL back then was a power house. These kids have now have no idea how much fun we had! Can't go anywhere now without somebody getting too drunk, od ing, fighting or getting shot.
