  • My router is not on the lists. is there any other way to forward my router?

  • @Angelmkd1 What happened when you typed in your gateway port into the address bar? Some modems that the internet company gives you doesn't work properly. The Modems are Built in routers but some ISP's block the web interface of it. You might have to access your isp site to see if they have port forwarders in it for your account. Cables like Time Warner (Road Runner) have that on some of their SMC modems.

  • @AtwHelp What happened when I typed my gateway in my browser? -Nothing :/ ... page doesnt exist. :(

Is there anything I can do?

  • @Angelmkd1 What type of router do you have?

  • there isnt even a "run" option in the starup menu and no im not an idiot. its seriously not there.

  • @JERSTOKES i wouldn't call someone an idiot. another solution to try is press Start-->All Programs-->Accessories and then click command prompt

  • @KrOuPTcHiiLD If it is an ip conflict that would mean your ip address is the same as another ip address from another device. Try going to control panel, network connections and try disabling and then re enabling.

  • ip what confict?

  • @parasashfaq If you set it up and never changed the username or the password it would be default. you can find the default username and passwords on the portforward (dot) com site. If someone else did setup your router and never told you the password and they cannot remember it. You would need to do a hard reset which would be to hold down the reset button for 30 seconds. When you do a hard reset it would erase anything you put into the router such as wireless name, password or custom ports
