  • my gp gxp was the biggest piece of crap i ever owned DO NOT BUY ONE!

  • @05ls4gxp Was your GXP a 2005? The 05/06 GXPs had alot more issues than the 07/08 from what I read.

Mine was an 08 and I drove it really hard for 25K miles, drag racing, burnout contest & alot of backroad driving that pushed my LAT meter passed the 1 G mark with no issues and was a great car.

Mine ran 13's in the 1/4 stock, 17/30mpg, room for 5, large trunk, big brakes & awesome handling. Resale is low so you can buy them cheap, I paid $16,200 with only 9k miles & 11 months old.

  • @05ls4gxp So was mine,I still got it , it's an '06 started burning alot of oil at 26k miles dealer replaced valve seals to no avail...Have replaced the passenger headlight 3 times, full exhaust (magnaflow) won't buy ANY OEM FROM GM,and Battery all before 50,000 miles.....just before my 3/36 was up told the dealer she still burns alot of oil and he said "well GM is aware of that problem, but they don't know how to fix it so my hands are tied" such bullshit...bought it brand new NEVER AGAIN!!

  • @JOEYP1970 The Displacement On Demand that makes the LS4 V8 only run on 4 cylinders is garbage & I believe a big part of your oil comsuption. I turned mine off via a tune when I bought the car & didn't have any oil loss issues.

You did good to get 30k miles on your tires in a GXP. I have a 10 Challenger SRT8 now & at 9K miles I need tires already. That's the price of having performance tires & driving the car hard.

I heard many compaints about the 05/06 GXP but my 08 GXP was a great car.

  • nice grand prix and i seen a red 2nd gen camaro (1974-1976/77') is that yours as well

  • @alexeddy79 That 74 Camaro was my Son's. He sold it a few months ago. Checkout my videos you'll see where he won the local car show burnout contest last summer. Had a built 454 in it.

My GXP was a real nice car but now I have a 2010 Challenger SRT8.

  • mine is also 08 and I never had problems with my car until now only a bit expensive in gas but its fun to drive. and I replaced the exhaust with flowmaster 10 on one side and 40 on the other side it sounds great

  • gotta find out what exhaust my friend has. Either his fucking owns all these magnaflows or videos don't do justice. Because when he revs his engine, the majority of the neighborhood can hear haha. But i've heard good things about magnaflow so i think videos just don't do it justice
