Pretty sure if any morons say that Starcraft/Warcraft came out before Warhammer Fantasy and 40000, then they need to read this and understand that starcraft and warcraft Orcs and humans came out in the early 90s.. Warhammer and its sub sections has been out since the 80s... and the reason blizzard has those franchises is because they got turned down like bitches by games workshop on their ideas of making a warhammer game...

@TheEffinVilln i know u posted this 2 months ago, but they didnt get turned down.. actually they were working on it.. and games workshop .. like they do with most companies they hire.. decided to pull the plug.. blizzard had all this work done and all the models done..so they just released... (Im actually a 3D art major... and one of our classes was video game and movie history and we studied it)

But you are correct... Warhammer came first.. but then again... Tolkein pretty much started it all

@5xOver I believe there will be a lot of transitions from WoW to SW:TOR, will it be a WoW killer? Nope. But it will thin out the playerbase some.

@TheEffinVilln whether or not workshop turned down blizzard doesnt mean anything, blizzard has made some of the best games to date, the warhammer mmo sucked, this one probably wont be all that much better, i do like the rts type warhammer games though

@king40k Ok first off, as much as I'd like to see a quality MMO compete with WoW, it isn't going to happen. WoW has a 11.5 million subscriber base, it is too popular, the only thing that will kill WoW is WoW. 40K and WoW don't have many similarities, WoW takes place in a fantasy world with swords,and magic, with the occasional helicopter thrown in. (God knows where that came from), and 40K has Space Marines blasting everything, they're too different to steal community from eachother.
