At the release of Together Alone, Crowded House appeared on Much Music's Intimate and Interactive performing and taking questions. Once of my favorite performances. See all 13 clips.

In 1995 or so, I traded a Daniel Ash solo CD, 5 blank VCR tapes, and postage for 10 hours of Crowded House video. I couldn't tell you the name of the person who did it, but it was quite a score for me.

Some of it is pretty common, some of it obscure. I'm posting all the non-commercially available stuff. It is quite a project but another CH fan did me a favor 14 years ago and it is my turn to repay the favor. Watch all the videos and if you are a fan enjoy! PLEASE COMMENT, RATE, and SUBSCRIBE. @browneyeddog31 Glad you were able to rediscover it! That is why I posted it. Great performances in this appearance especially of the TA songs. I think I can safely say that in retrospect, looking at the original band's catalog TA is my favorite album of theirs. I think it has held up the best (but of course they are all great!).

Harsh? Lol, what's wrong with Canadian people? I'm British and I can probably name several British show hosts who'd do a worse job than she does here.

Anyway, Kare Kare is top-quality Crowded House, and it's great the way Together Alone was recorded in a beach hut. Very original. Paul Hester R.I.P.

Thank you ChizelMonkee for this vid, I've been a CH fan for over 20 years. I met them at a radio station in 1991, they were very charming. And saw them in London in concert in 2007

it's actually called a 'steel', and it can be solid or hollow. solid steels give a very clear and bright tone because of the mass of the steel and the hollow ones give a more mellow tone - the actually resonate slightly.

i'm not totally sure but i think lap steels use solid steels only.
