This video demonstrates two exploit variants targeting the latest vulnerability in Adobe's flash player. Although a patched version is available for more than two months, many users are still running a vulnerable version on their system. After watching the video, we recommend visiting Adobe's website and checking your flash player version. If it is 9.0.115.0 or older, you might be vulnerable.

  • Well, Firefox will not always protect you from such things. Talking about browser bugs or bugs in plugins in general, you might also consider to enable DEP and ASLR on your system. Of course, it is possible to bypass these countermeasures too, but not in every situation.

The problem these days is that normal websites get compromised and visitors allow every content of these sites, because they trust them. The NoScript plugin can't help in such situations.

  • My solution: just disable java script and flash in your browser.

  • Very good demos, it clearly shows how just by browsing the web your machine can get infected.

To protect myself from these kind of exploits, you show in the demos, I use firefox and noscript extension.
