Philip had failed so many times, he didn't believe his life was worth anything.

From the first drink he took at age 14, Philip felt comfort as alcohol washed away his deep emotional pain. But the addiction and his own self-loathing destroyed decades of his life.

At Portland Rescue Mission, Philip began to heal from the root causes behind his addiction. Alcohol became powerless in his life. And a new Philip emerged.
