  • Hello brother. First of all realise that the 3000 did not speak in tongues as they were baptised by the HG, nor the eunuch, nor the prison guard and family, nor Lydia, nor anybody else apart from 3 or 4 occasions. The space here is not sufficient to give detailed answers, but I would encourage you to watch all the seven parts of this video. I 'spoke in tongues' for 18 y. The original tongues were a sign that made even unbelievers believe. Ours have to be believed in the first place! Be strong!

  • @TheDarkMitzuki I have been in a pentacostal church 25 years and still do not speak in tongues. IMO God gives us the prommiss of the holy spirit. We receive it by faith, Then man comes along and says "Prove It". No, we are not subject to mans rules. When we pray we pray in the spirit and when we sing we sing in the spirit. It is the spirit within us that wants to communicate with God. and we do it internally . We do not need tongues to speek to god. we are free of that.

  • @TheDarkMitzuki What this teacher told you was false, the body of christ the church depicted in 1Cor 12, tells you that it is impossible for all to speak in tongues, as the brother in this video will tell you im sure, this doctrine causes death and separation, and spiritual impotence among many of our brethren.

when any tell you this again, ask them why all in their own assemblies do not speak in tongues, and that this is in accordance with the scriptures. seek to prophesy and forget tongues,

I can very well say that it was the Holy Spirit telling me to not listen to the message.

Honestly, this whole speaking in tongues doctrine confuses me highly. I've been trying to get answers from the word and people on the internet and all I've gotten is that, you can speak in tongues and be pleasing to God, but you can speak in tongues in a paganistic matter.

I tell God that I would like to speak in tongues, but in a way that worships HIM.

  • I've been a member in a pentecostal church since the age of 12, now I'm 16 going to 17 and I have been baptized by the Holy Spirit, but I've never spoken in tongues.

Once a preacher came to a friday youth service, and he was telling us that the only way we can know that we were baptized by the Holy Spirit, would be if we spoke in tongues. During the whole service I felt a great discomfort, almost as if my spirit was rejecting the word he was giving. I was praising God during the preaching...
