I love this movie..They definitely don't make them like that anymore. The best scary movies are the one's that creep you out, not gross you out in my book. The first time I saw this movie I was spending the weekend at my aunt and uncle's house and watched it. I believe I was 7. That night I slept (or tried to) in their back bedroom, by myself, and the wind was blowing around outside and making this weird sound when it triend to blow thru the shutters on the window. God I was scared to death.!!

i remember when this movie aired and within a few months after a bubble gum company tried to cash in on it's popularity and hired the guy who played Bubba for their commercial and at the end of the commercial he would pop up with a silly look on his face and yell out ''Hubba Bubba!''

@Purplecatsoup30 No, im sure there was a reason for him being up there (for better or worse), but they just shot him for no good reason. You'd think they'd try to help a whining man tied to a poll, but they just shot him. And, yeah, those gore 'horror' movies are stupid.

@Ebenezershnezer81 His mother tried to hide him, as I recall. It's been a LOOOOONG time since I'e seen it. Why she thought this was gonna help, I dunno. But, the way this movie was written, directed, and acted far outshines anything being produced in the horror franchise today, in my opinion. Gone are the days of suspense, of genuine dread. Now we are just bombarded with blood and bodies torn to pieces. Horror? No, gore. And that's gross.
